Jeffrey and Maria were so great to work with! They have quite the eye to capture the moments we cherished the most. My husband and I were undecided on whether to get a videographer too, since we had photographers. But we are SOOOOOO happy we did. It really is true that in the end all you have is photos and video.
My husband and I got married on September 9th and by the next day, we were already sharing our highlight video with friends and family! If that's not fast work, I don't know what is. It was great because it was still fresh on everyone's minds and for those who could not come, they got to still feel a part of it.
We loved everything about our highlight video. They both paid close attention to detail and captured everything we could wish for. We've received so many great compliments on our highlight video. We've now received the fully edited Ceremony and Reception videos too and the quality is beyond our expectations. Everything is so clear, both sound and visual :)
Thank you Jeffrey and Maria for capturing our day so beautifully!

Thank you Maria and Juan Carlos for the wonderful review!
As a videographer you are able to cover several types of stories. It could be a wedding, a live concert, a nonprofit video, or a mini documentary. The beauty of being a well-rounded videographer is that you can capture a variety of events. I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to the news business. It was in news that I was able to capture a different story every day of the week. I was able to cover stories that many people could only dream about covering. Not only was the coverage vast, but the news made me efficient and fast. There is no time to waste when you have a story hitting the air at 5pm. So what does this mean for my future and present clients? Well, if you hire me for a project you can rest assured that there will be a quick turnaround and the video will have a creative flare. I always put my best foot forward when it comes to creating your video.
I just purchased a Canon C100 camera. Before purchasing the camera I read several reviews regarding the unusable viewfinder and lcd screen was. Many folks decided to buy the Zacuto Z Finder which was made specifically for the C100. I asked around and a fellow C100 owner told me about the Sachtler Mini Hood for the C100 you can buy it here. The hood works great in the sunlight and is pretty easy to place around the C100 screen. I use the waveform monitor in conjunction with the hood and my video comes out looking great. What is really cool about this product is that it is only $26.00. So if you wanted you could buy two of them, one for use and one for backup in case you lose one of them. Here are some pictures of the hook on my lcd screen.
Jeffrey Cook Videography just received their 13th 5 out of 5 star review from Weddingwire.comWe strive to do our very best on your special day. Communication, expertise, and professionalism is what you can expect from Jeffrey Cook Videography. Here is our latest cinematic wedding trailer:
I was fortunate enough to capture Maria and Juan Carlos’ big day. Despite the ash coming down from the sky due to the fires up in the mountains, it was a great day to record a wedding. The bride looked really pretty in her dress and the groom looked classy in his grey suit. Holy Spirit is a joy to record weddings at because of all the natural light it provides. After the ceremony I captured some video footage of the couple in the Japanese Gardens at Woodward Park. We could only record and take pictures in a particular designated area…but that area was beautiful. The reception was held at Copper River Country Club. The newlyweds asked for the photographer Keith and his wife Paula to take a large group photo. So after they were done taking the 100 or so guest photo, I asked the crowed to wave at my camera so I could get a shot of them too. All in all the experience was very good. I wish the couple much success.
I just shot a safety video for a local post office. The supervisors were great to work with and very witty. Safety videos have a great purpose in the workplace. Both employees and employers can benefit greatly if they comply with their safety standards. We all have seen the boring videos that companies make you watch right? Well, it does not have to be that way. Ask the client what they would like their employees to take away from the video and build around that. You can incorporate comedy and use interesting shots to keep the video alive. Videos now days do not necessarily need to be 15 minutes long. You can successfully deliver a powerful message in about 3-5 minutes. Have fun creating your video. The video can be very effective, and fun at the same time.
