The Friday Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating its 35th year of educating and entertaining Fresno Unified elementary students. The Friday Phil -- made up of current and retired Fresno Unified music teachers, retired Fresno State music educators, and other professional musicians -- has for more than three decades provided a 30-minute concert at a different Fresno Unified elementary school every Friday. Many Friday Phil members also perform with the Fresno Philharmonic, Tulare County Symphony, and various local swing, jazz, and string ensembles. For many students, the concert is their first introduction to a live musical performance. The Friday Phil performs for more than 20,000 students each year, with concerts featuring a variety of styles and selections and a demonstration of instruments. Students learn about classical music and the role of music in everyday life, and gain a greater understanding of music as an integral part of all human societies, past and present.
There are days when you just want to create. I had an urge to go shoot with my C100 at a local park at sunrise. This gave me an opportunity to not only create, but become more familiar with my new camera. I strongly believe that if one practices enough, they can become better than they were yesterday. Was I getting paid to wake up early to shoot an empty park at sunrise? No, I did it because I love to shoot video, I love to create, and most importantly….I thrive on using the gifts God has given me. Anytime I am behind a camera I am preparing myself for the next paid opportunity. If you like the colors of fall watch this video.
We had a great time capturing Franki and Zack’s wedding day. We started off at Franki’s house where we were able to get footage of her getting her hair and makeup done. After a little makeup and shooting the dress, we headed over to Zack’s location and were able to get him getting ready and giving out gifts. Both the bride and groom spoke to the camera regarding their love for one another. The ceremony was held at St. Anthony’s and the reception was held at Holy Trinity in downtown Fresno.
They did a great job in decorating the hall. The atmosphere was full of fun with people dancing to both the music played by the dj and the band. The speeches were very genuine. Right after the groom and bride they and the rest of their wedding party broke out in a full dance routine. It was quite the celebration! Both families were very kind.
1. You can share the link to family and friends who did not attend the wedding in just a day or so
2. Wedding trailers are the best way to relive the wedding moment
3. They are better than photos since you can hear what was said and see video in motion
4. You can share the link on your wedding anniversary (which many of my clients do)
5. Trailers give you a chance to star in your own film
