It’s your wedding day and you are so excited. You want everything to be perfect and unforgettable. You have selected the best vendors. One of the vendors is a videographer and you are can’t wait to see what they will capture. As a videographer, I can say that we need footage. We especially need footage of you and your fiancé alone. Without footage of the newlyweds we just have a bunch of video of exteriors, interiors, and family. We need you! Many times I ask the bride and groom if I can pull them away from the reception for just a few minutes to capture some video of the two alone. I highly suggest getting this video during the golden hour. What is the golden hour you ask? It is the hour before the sun sets and or rises. You get great imagery that is evenly lit as well as flattering. So just like you make time for your photographer, please make time for your videographer. Most of us are creating short films of the wedding, and the wedding without footage of you is….nothing. Also, for those who are on the fence about hiring a videographer please check bride testimony. Pictures are great, but video makes things come to life. With video, you can hear what people said during the day.
