Weddings are great platforms for storytelling. As a videographer, you have the opportunity to showcase wonderful and stunning imagery. Capturing images such as the church (both inside and out) family members showing one another affection, the bride and groom showing each other how much they love one another, and shots of the venue, can be breathtaking to the viewer. There are many other shots, these just come to mind.
With the ability to record audio you can really tell their story and draw the viewer in. After listening to speeches for example, you can tie pieces together that really work well and tell the story of the bride and groom. When you are dealing with video and audio you really have something photos can not offer. Wedding films allow everyone to experience not only what visually happened, but what was said during the wedding. With audio and video you get the chance to really set the mood. It is a huge plus to both bride and groom if they can find not just any videographer, but a videographer who understands storytelling.
